Just had to get out today. The weather is great. Sunny and 60 here. The ground dried out just enough to help the ace keep from thinking every pull tab and bottle cap was a quarter. Was running discrimination at dimes and up so I would avoid junk and zincolns. Accidentally turned on pennies though when I was picking up the detector after finishing a dig and what
Next target sound was a zincoln penny tone... decided to dig anyways and whoa! an Indian! about 2-3 inches deep next to a tree. Made my day! Next coin was the 1918 wheatie and thought I was about to hit oldie central! Well, it didn't really pan out that way. Got another couple of wheats, and then the cool silver Jesus on the cross ring... then the silver angel charm... then the CTA token. Another hour or so of clad and I decided to ride home and clean up. Fine hunt indeed.
