Saturdays Gas Money

Saturday's Gas Money

After running a couple of errands this morning, I went to the local City park before the little ones could get there.
Not really earth shattering, but a first for me, A whole complete One Dollar Bill! It was just laying in the grass about 30 feet from me and I knew what it was instantly. It's great findin' foldin' money!!

The rest of the hunt was typical, findin' clad, trinkets, another little car and my third pretty new spoon, in as many weeks.
I had just filled up my truck at $3.75 a gallon, drove 7.6 miles round trip and collected $3.41 in booty. I hope this will become a pattern.....

Keep safe...

Good spread of targets Rudy!

If your coil had passed over a valuable one, you would not have missed it...
MOF, that park probably hasn't been hunted by anyone else for a while. Hit 'er again!

I paid $4.25 today. My twenty got me 4.7 gallons... Crudmuffins!

Sure does put a crimp in things.

Nice Mr. Potato Arm!

I dug so much can slaw today that I had to discriminate out everything except dimes and quarters to perk me up... and I ended up digging a 5" x 1" piece of aluminum siding at 10" that rang as a solid quarter, that was my last hole today.

Hey Rudy,

Nice finds. The tot lot looks very much like those around here...it looks like you got there REALLY early! Glad you got more than you used in gas too. The price of gas is killing my detecting. Only took one detecting trip in the last month. Gas was 4.20 here a week ago; saw it today for 3.90. So when did 3.90 seem like a bargain?
