Hi guys, one of our team found this today on there permission in herts, England, we thought it was a button but now it's been cleaned I'm not 100% sure, it's the size of an old penny.

Thats a 16th C sword belt fittment.

The first post is an 18th C furniture fitting.

Yes, from the top of my head it's 1690-1720.
