Haven't been finding squat lately.

Did you get your excal back from Minelab? And is it working OK?

I'm sending mine back for a second time . . .

They replaced the coil and circuit board, but looks like they messed something up in the process.

Hi Bill, yes it was returned after about four weeks. Works just as good as new.
The problem was a broken wire in the headphones. They replaced the phones and installed a shorter, heaver headphone coiled wire.

The other problem was a leaky disc/PP seal which was repaired. All in all, I'm happy.

Ralph,

How's that new Sovereign you purchased working out?

I'm thinking about ordering one this week.

Bill

The Sov GT is a fine machine. It took me about an hour to get used to the controls.

The mounting system does not lend itself to customizing very well. But give me time and I'll come up with something. LOL

For use on the beach, I have covered the speaker with a clear screen protector and am using a one gallon baggy to protect from our quick showers.

I also like the idea of the threshold/silent switch. That works very well in trashy areas.

Anyway, back to the question posted. Scales!
