Last Tuesday I came from Long Beach to home. I've always been a window seat type passenger and would rather look at the ground below rather than have an iPad and ear buds on the trip. The plane leaves Long Beach by heading west over the water and takes a curving climb to head east over the San Gabriel Mountains and the Mojave Desert on the other side. The flight took 1hr. 45min. to Denver. That was a whole lot better time than going to southern California out of Denver last Sunday. Some other shots are the mountains just west of Las Vegas and the Las Vagas Strip, the Colorado River, just above the Glenn Canyon I believe or maybe below Lake Powel? The snow-pack of the Rockies and the I25 corridor looking north over downtown Denver. It felt so good to be back in my own bed Tuesday night.
