Well I finally got out and hit one of the local swim holes today. I was out for about 4 hours or so. Found lots of sinkers and a few fishing lures. Also found a small area with quite a bit of a pocket spill. Mostly Penny's but they add up. I found the ring in about the first half hour. I thought it was a junker at first because I could not locate a mark. But upon closer inspection at home I found it at the base of the prongs where the metal starts to split. It's marked 10K!! I tested the stones and they are not diamonds. Probably CZ. Oh well gold is gold...
