Went detecting at a New permission today and located quite a few structure sits from the 1950-60s range. I found quite a bit of trash. Aluminum, clad, 3 garden hose ends and more. Then as I was getting tired and ready to leave I pushed to a corner of the property. Got a very deep signal and popped out the big tombac. NICE! Then I dug more trash. As I was walking near the wood line I saw a snake. I jumped a little but he slithered away from me so I kept detecting. More trash. Then 3 cast net weights mixed in. One with bite marks! I got tired of digging more trash and decided to go to the other corner where my friend who lived on the property said she had seen ghosts. That’s when I found the 1897 IHP, the dropped round ball, the fired round ball, the weird (case shot?) ball, another tombac, and more clad. The gnats were eating me alive so I decided it was time to go. All in all it was a good day of trying to find where the relics are. I found em! Enjoy
