Sure is but I got good stuff in my pile as I'm not dum nuf to collect tin as these days your invited to "just drop it off"
or maybe if your lucky $30/ton.

As I've said on other recent posts, avoid iron and pick up the huge volumes of non-ferrous now lying around. The increase in volume offsets the lower price.

And I said this in October:
"When the prices were good a few months ago I had to beat off the competition with a tyre lever.
Now I can take my time and happily scavenge amongst the mountains of scrap and rubbish left alone
by the greedy many who wanted a quick buck.
In other words , prices are low but volume is high.
Of course storage between yard trips is a problem for ferrous but non-ferrous is ok."

Ya know some folks just can't leave it alone,i.e. if ya see a fridge or washing machine on the side of the road ya gotta stop an pick it up.

Remember if ya leave it alone, the other guy that picks it up aint gonna make any money either . Or if ya can't stop yoself get a boltcutter and quickly just cut the Cu pipe outa da fridge and move on.
