I would think palm scraper. Very nice either way!
 

Just a biface the knapper gave up on. He couldn't get that cortex off the one side so he tossed it. Neat find. Gary
 

What do the ends look like? Can you see and polish at all on either end? It could be a Scraper, it could be a small Flint Adz, and it could be what Gary said above.

Grim, this is I believe, what you guys call unifaced. The ends are “worked” just like the sides and in approximately the same angle. This leaves it in a slightly domed shape with the backside being rough hewn to a flat. I will try to get a couple of pics.

Uniface means flaked on one side only and your is definitely flaked on both sides so it is Bifacial and not Unifacial.
