Scrip and Silver (plated) from the year's first hunt

For our first dig of the year, dad and I decided to the old coal camp again. As usual we found some really cool stuff.

Our totals for the day:
2 pieces of penny scrip, a tootsietoy train car (proudly stamped 'Made in United States of America'), the remnants of a Guy's Dropper carbide lamp, a silver plated ring, a Cameo silver plated spoon that was apparently used to stir white paint, a buckle, and a Buck 110 folding hunter knife. The knife was on top of the ground, probably dropped by a hunter in recent years. It took a lot of MAAS and Ballistol along with some work on a whetstone, but it looks halfway decent again. The blade is in rough shape and looks to have been fairly abused by the previous owner, but still holds a good edge.

Nice finds! I used to have a knife like that!
Maybe if you sift the dirt in the area where you found the ring maybe the stone will turn up.
