late is better than never.it was only a short time ago that scrounger
doubled up got the 2nd of 2 silvers found this year.
at the end of that post i stubbornly declared, im not quittin.
well imagine my great joy to find 2 SILVERS IN ONE HUNT !!
many who find silver regularly are laughing im sure
but it aint no laughing matter around here.
i even got on 2 seperate private properties NO SILVER.
TEMP OF about 34 deg. so ill go try a parksite. after my woodchip scramble
with not enuf clothes on for the cold . this time i DRESSED
i arrived with about 2 hrs to hunt. and wasnt sure how frozen the ground was
pretty froze as it turned out which said soil is only about 2 in of black dirt
over nice hardpack clay. yikes. so off i go. breath billowing out like a steam
engine. first signal an nope aint gonna dig that one. shes frozen solid
moved to where the grass was thicker and was only half frozen. after a few cladsget a signal i dont recognize o n the etrac id numbers
turns out to be scattered pieces of the sterling bracelet. etrac got 5 pcs seperately plus 2 pcs of chain and even the eyelet conector pc. wow
next deep chirp a 1913 wheat. now im paying more attention
decide its getting late here and im gonna switch to diggin coin signals only
2 very promising signals were early memorials at 6 in plus. GRRRRR
ANOTHER WHEAT 1910....now a rash of junk finds.....where is my silver
some deep nails which kinda fool etrac an d can be
VERY FRUSTRATING TO LOCATE. now it late in the game.
i have sterling silver but i need to score coins.

finally that very weak high flute signal that minelab users the world over love to hear !
6 minutes of diggin shez gonna play hard to get. and thers my merc
HOORAY! I SHOUTED TO THE EMPTY PARK.......probably loud enuf for the whole county to hear.
im really stoked now but it twilight time....dare i hope for another keeper
etrac low batt but i switched the backlight on anyway
i can see i have only a few mins left to hunt anyway.
half warble --deleted--ty signal .will it be ? YES IT IS YEEHA another merc.
wasnt able to get dates on them forgot cheater glasses. of course i was
hopin for 2 16ds. or at least one ? after the pennies i thought maybe they
be early but was 41 and 43. i didnt / dont care. im in heaven
we goin down again in temp so this very well could be last hunt of year
around here. tho one can never be sure.
how satifying to double from 2 to 4 silver coins on the year.
