scuba tector

any member us one ?????? whats the depth on say a soda can size object or bigger ???? am guessing 8" .....i like to know
Depends on detector, if using one not designed for salt water you may not get that much if sensitivity was turned down to stop the falling. On my multi freq excal I hit coins at 20+ in all metal.

Yes, with a good PI UW Detector, you could hear a soda can at 24"+. Not a fun thing to dig up.

The Excal will hit one that deep too. Discrimination doesn't help too much on an aluminum can.

Im not sure but i think op may be referring to the Deteknix Scuba tector.

Did you say a Plane? Well, just a guess, but deeper than 8" to 12" for a can.

I wouldnt waste my money on one. It's a probe with a flat head. Probably similar performance, so maybe a couple inches. If you want to detect while scuba diving, you have to get a real detector made for that.

:icon_thumleft: thank u jason ....my though to .....my big problem is ill be spotted .....my detector died at sea .....the place am at 2 years ( military ) waves, tide , joke like she said size matters ....thanks again :goldbar:
