a thread from 2016? as usual I am late to the party; I am going through Geradot´s old threads and the first one has blown me away
some questions for Geradot (even if not answered):
I assume these are your photographs, as another poster has commented, your photos are truly quite excellent.
If I may ask, how did you come to hold and photograph such a truly exotic item? (your hand?)
From whom did the attribution 'Belt of Tsar' come from?
How long is the belt, and what does it weigh?
From where was it recovered, and is there an associated specific dating?
Possible to know where it is today? (and did you find it?)
