This is the end of a short block of metal. It looks like it might be a stamp of some kind but the “picture” doesn’t make sense to me...It almost looks like a tree with part of a cross but my idea is colored by the fact that I found it on an old church property.

This almost looks like a buckle but was confused by the short rod with two holes.

These are all the items found on that hunt.

Thanks!

That's a nice haul of finds!

Item #2 is half of a lady's dress buckle. Turn of the 20th C up to 1930's. The two holes were used to attach fabric to the buckle.

May we see a pic of the back of item #1? Also, try to get a more focused pic of the front, plz. Lay it on a medium dark, non-reflective surface. That way the camera won't focus on your finger tips.

Item #1 appears to be a print block. Maybe for the letter 'L'? I don't know what the image represents... :icon_scratch:

Oops! Not a pin. A token.

It had 'gold ore' inside it.

Thanks, DCMatt...a printing block of some sort was my guess too. I didn’t see the “L”...maybe l for leaf?

Leaf is a good idea. I was thinking more like a decorative letter to start a chapter or paragraph in a book.

That is more like it because really it looks more like a tree...so a starting block is likely. I love it!
