I was going to use some sealer for the jobe power sluice header box I'm attaching to my sluice and was wondering what is best to use as with all the different kinds of sealers I don't want to use something that might put some oil or residue in the sluice. I think I've heard someone saying something about siliconing mat down is silicone ok and best to use? Thanks for any info

Ive used clear silicone to secure ribbed matting to my sluice box and to seal leaks on the header box of my recirculating clean-up sluice. It works really good, just do it in a ventilated area the fumes are pretty noxious.

I'd use something like window silicone.
