Got an old friend who lets me come out once or twice a year once the nuts have been pulled...
I've never found a complete point here, but there is an unimaginable amount of chert and lots of blades/scrapers/perforators/incomplete points which leads me to believe that this was just where they came to make points and tools. I've dabbled in knapping and it makes sense that they'd make their tools AWAY from camp. Those chert pieces can slice you open!
Also found several hammer stones, but this one is the best one I've ever found. Hard to tell from the pic, but it's a giant piece of quartz with lots of use!
