Searched my first $500 box of Halves.results and a question

Got my first $500 box of Halves. Found 1 1967 40% - 1 2004 D - 1 1976 silver or silver-clad....Question is the 1976 silver I thought would have a s mintmark but it doesn't. It is deffinatly silver...Are their silver ones or just 40% silver ones and do they have a special mark?

If it doesn't have a "S" mintmark it is probably a coin that someone plated on their own......not silver unless they plated it with silver.
