Monday I took a co-worker to the campsite and we really didn't do much good. 1 camp lead apiece after 2 1/2 hrs. We were awarded the opportunity to close up about 15 holes that someone else left open though.
I figure someone has seen me out there repeatedly the last month and decided to try and cash in on my work.
The thing is only about 2 or 3 of their holes were deep enough to have period targets in them..Sad really that some inconsiderate no talent peep tried to ruin my site.
So I went again yesterday and hunted about 3 hrs. after 2 hrs I backed way off discrim and started digging iron signals. Figured I'd dig up something!!
I'm sure glad I did!! snagged a bad bullet pour and another round ball with a modern .22. Then I got a deep iron signal so after about 3 minutes of chasing it in the hole out pops this flat rusty piece.
I knew right away what it was and awfully happy that i decided to retrieve it..
9 trips now for 20 some hours of hunting and the Good stuff just keeps on coming...
