Searching under the apple trees

I received permission to search an 1907 house that also had an appletree grove on the property. No silver so far but did find a handful of wheats and a V-nickel.About 1 acre to search, I know there's got to be more there.The house was built by a nearby mining company.

I would take more than one trip there, more than likely that silver is hiding out just waiting for you to find it.

The orchard's if you think about it can be some great place's to hunt.I have one on one the farm's I hunt but it's no longer there.Can you imagine the union troop's coming through in Sept.,hungry after a long march and ready to go into battle...I bet you they just flocked the place.I'm glad you posted this,now it's research time......Congrat's on the "V" and good luck at this site....
