Well the snow is here but not before I could get a few more hunts in. I braved some lower to mid 30s temps to get in a few last finds and I'm glad I did. These are my finds from my last 2 hunts. An 1890 Seated Liberty dime, a '08 Barber quarter, a '14 Barber dime and a '35s Washington for silver. The Injuns are 2 00's,'02,'03,'93,'2 95's,'96and a '99. 3 V nickels, an '02,'03 and '04 and 1 no date Buffalo along with 19 wheats. I hate to see winter come but I had a good year this year, my best year to date with 373 silvers. I go into hibernation now for the next 3 months. I will be spending alot of time researching places for next season and I'll have to hit the books hard if I expect to get any where near what I got this year. There wasn't any frost in the ground yet, due to lack of moisture so I might be able to get out one more time or two if this 3 and a half inches of snow melts before it gets too cold. It's always good to be optimistic anyway!! My totals for the season are 373 silver, 2 Gold, 822 wheats, 67 I.H.s, 18 tokens, 41 Nickels (V's and Buffalos), $310.70 in clad and a total of 3516 coins dug. HH to all of you who still can and Merry Christmas to all and may the new year bring some good finds. HH and thanks for looking.

All the best,

Congrats on another great year! It's always fun to meet up, whether hunting or otherwise. While my totals pale in comparison to yours, this year was my best as well and a lot of my success is directly due to many of the tips you offer. You're a true friend and an outstanding ambassador for our hobby.

Deano, this has been one spectacular year for you! I guess I need to do a lot more research.......I have yet to find my first IH! Certainly hope you are able to get a couple of more hunts in before the winter sets in for good on you. Maybe you can add to that lonely gold!? How about a pic of the gold you found, please? (or a link to your post about it)
