Howdy all! I got a phone call today from a local school principal who knows me and my MDing ways.
Evidently, an adult playground monitor at the school recently lost an earring that she would very much like to find. So around 4 p.m., with my youngest in tow, I headed for the playground. There was still quite a bit of snow but at least I could see where the day's activities were centered. I hunted for a good hour and did not find the supposedly dime-sized earring. We did end up with $1.09 in clad, a FL souvenir bottle opener, some magnetic beads, and a heart charm. Imagine that, on Valentine's day!
I plan to go back when more snow melts and try again and possibly talk to the earring owner directly to get a feel for where she might have been.
Looking forward to some warmer weather!
