Seated #50

Hit a milestone tonight in my quest for Seated or older silver and it was the only coin I found tonight too! Dont get me wrong. Im just as happy digging rosies but I prefer finding the older stuff. Found in a farm field recently turned into a park where Ive found some indians in the past but never any silver. Puts me at Seated #8 fty and #50 since 2015. Thanks for looking

To be fair, I found close to half of them on my early fairgrounds and most of the rest in farm fields and in the water but have dug them in parks and schoolyards too.

Not sure how you could find that many Spanish without some seated mixed in. Your sites must have been abandoned by the time of seated coinage. Most of my colonial sites have a longer period of activity

Well I need to find some colonial sites that have Spanish. Over half of all my colonial silver came from that one river site. Most of my colonial sites are full of coppers, seated and barber. Most of my seated though including 23 from my fairgrounds site were strictly late 19th century sites

I probably mentioned it but when I hunt North and West I get mainly coppers too.

Capped Bust silver is to me what seated is to many of you. Though I have found one, I would think there should be a few more around where Im hunting. Still looking for my first Franklin half and silver dollar though
