Did some more woods exploring yesterday afternoon and ran into a new small campsite area. Most of the good targets were newer shell casings but found a nice coin. Great that it has a "S" mint mark even though it is faint.

The suspender clip has a date on it .. 1858. The knife is kind of neat but the other side is missing (shoot!). No that isn't a detecting coil cover in the last picture .. ha!

That's now my 32nd seated coin that I've found over the years. On average I find about 2 each year.

Nice! :icon_thumleft:

Is that a solid brass shotgun shell?

Excellent. Two seateds a year? Amazing. I like the buckle and shell casing too!

Getting a silver quarter signal in the woods, then popping a Seated Quarter is an amazing feeling. Only happened to me once. That suspender clasp is very cool. Have not seen that style before, love the date. Great site and congrats!

Nice! That's a low mintage coin. :icon_thumright:

I've never dug a seated anything before, so of course the coin is awesome. However, I think I like the suspender clip even more! That is one unusual design, and it's still in great condition! Congratulations!

Nice finds! That's a well-worn coin.

Nice silver coin find. I like the knife also. Congrats

I thought the suspender clip was interesting as well. I've found a lot of them but never one like this. Looks like they slanted the numbers to fit the date on.

While the seated quarter is a great find, that suspender buckle is awesome. Love the handmade look and date on it - very cool!

Wonderful find. That's a true oldie for the West Coast. Nicely done!!

Congratualtions on the Seated and cool relics! :icon_thumleft:
