Went park hunting with Paul today. We tried several different spots. Other than a few wheaties from the different places we bounced around to, the best place for me was a park where there had been some construction done about a year ago and myself, Outlaw007, and P2C had found some silver and Indians where some excavations had been done. Today at that spot I got an 1892 Barber Dime, an 1890 Indian and a 1856 Seated Quarter. The quarter came out of the ground completely black and I actually thought it was a token first until I saw the the eagle on the back and new it was seated quarter. Its pretty worn and my guess lost around 1900 or so based on the wear. Its my sixth seated coin of the year - all from local parks. Picture below
