So my first post was about a 1736 George II half penny I found on Sunday. I've been trying to get outside since then to hit that spot again and it was a beautiful afternoon. after digging some iron and a shotgun shell, I got a hit and shot 1 cent ten cent signal on my ace 250. In the hole about 6 inched down was a coin the size of a quarter. i was so excited but couldn't see any markings. After hunting somemore with no luck i came in and cleaned it off to find an 1809 half cent. camera is broken but i'll try to post pictures soon!. I have such an itch to call off work tomorrow and hunt that spot all day long!

nice looking coin.

nice, and good idea about work

Man thats nice.

Way to go! You are tearing it up with that Ace 250!

thanks for all the possitive response. I'm having fun learning the 250. i just got lucky for the most part. I'm still digging way too many large iron objects that are showing up as copper signals. anyway. i have a mystery coin i found in the same area however it doesn't seem likely that anyone will be able to i.d. it as it's in horrible shape.
