The second hunt I scored 4 memorial cents, a few pull tabs, a few pieces of a can that had been hit by a lawnmower, I unearthed a subterranean hanger and found a plane! And by far the most unusual thing... a ruler! It came up with a coin tone but certainly seemed bigger, I figured might as well dig it anyways (I figured it was a pop can because I've dug up a few and that's what it sounds like), well, my hole was a bit off and I see this white line, I figured, yep another soda can, so I pulled it out, imagine my shock when it turned out to be a ruler! Amazing the stuff that gets buried. It was about 2-3 inches deep.
My third hunt was fairly uneventful, just found some wire and a clad quarter (1980) in my front yard.
And my fourth hunt was even more uneventful, stuck my machine in all metal mode and dug up about 5 nails, quite a bit of wire and a slab of iron.
Getting a bit better at pinpointing though!
