I have had my deus for a little over a year. I feel like I am understanding it more and more
with each use. I hit a church yard recently I have been to many times and found 2 wheats
8"-10" down. I also found a 1950 Roosevelt dime that was under a big root. This is a yard I
have been at and I switched back to several preset programs and didn't hear anything. I have
a couple tweaked programs I heard a faint but very repeatable signal. The darn detector is too
good sometimes and I find myself digging very small deep trash. Once you have found all the
easy stuff there is no choice but to dig deeper. I have heard recently how people like the new
Equinox and I would be afraid to switch at this time.
Also there is a way to darken the screen for the sunlight issue. I have not encountered this problem.
I would be interested to hear your opinion of the 2 machines after you have enough time to make a
fair comparison.
