here are two more items not yet identified. anyone know what make the trigger guard is ?both items were found in north eastern australia. thanks

the bottom pic looks like the part of a gun were your finger went to pull the trigger

Yes, the bottome one is definitely a trigger guard. No doubt about it. Don't know about the top pic though!

The first one is definitely a trigger guard. The first one may be an ornamental metal decoration off of a piece of furniture. I got a box full of items off of old dressers, furniture that look very similar. Jim Cal

eborac, glad to see you got the pics working! are there any markings on the trigger guard? If so that might help! 8)

that trigger guard looks to be froma? blackpowder gun, without markings or other trigger guards to compare it to identification is nearly impossible. It looks similar to this one http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,8534.0.html

Top looks to be part of a hair comb or a broach. bottom is a trigger guard (single tigger) by looks of it.
