Hi friends, I bought this Omega last night, but I was pleasantly surprised by the watckmaker earlier today. He told me it was a Seiko movement. I didn't believe him at first, but I looked closer at the movement and sure enough, Seiko 6309A. I have the deer in the headlight look. It has an Omega dial, and case. I never pay too much for my watches, and this is a very good reason why. Please let me know your thou 20181108_185454.webp20181108_185426.webp20181108_185409.webp20181108_185345.webp20181108_185323.webpghts. Thanks.

I think that a fooled me also, as I've never heard or seen this imposter before.

Frankenenwatch! Case and dial still worth big money

I probably would’ve thrown up on my watchmaker. I would’ve never thought of that either!

Heyo,
You'll still be able to get 100, more like 150 for the case, case back, and dial. A little more if its the original omega band as well. I absolutely love these watches.
Sorry about the movement. I never buy a watch without opening the back now. Doesn't matter if its a gshock or a rolex. I've been taken for twice in my 5 years of doing this and swear to never let it happen again. Just be careful with some of the vintage Omegas, their fake movements are stamped omega as well, just not in the correct places or in the right font- https://omegaforums.net/threads/don...omegas-post-them-here-not-for-questions.6235/
