It was still early in the day. I had fresh batteries and a treasure itch that needed to be scratched. So after a 15 mile drive i found a nice trail to hike, the upstate NY colors are just starting to peek. Ever so slowly i hunted the trail until i reached the old Mill about a mile to the end. The trail held a few goodies, some clad, a 1919 strap buckle, a watch-key fob, and a 36 merc i scratched the hell out of chipping it out of the rocks, the best find was my 1868 Indian head. also found a cut large cent, no date) 1940 & 1910 wheaties and a rather large toasted copper, seems larger then a regular large cent as you can see from my comparison pic. the little box i thought was interesting, even though it only had a 1974 quarter in it. hope everyone enjoys the pics,
