Went to the new park again today and scored a Sterling ring, piece of herring bone chain (rings in the gold not silver range) and a Nova Scotia Cooper half penny no date (made with the Kings face 1823 to 1839). Now for most of you this is not a big deal but up here in Spokane you don't get any coppers. It's the oldest coin I found in Spokane. I'm stoked!
Thanks for looking
Happy hunting.

I understand finding an old copper like that one IS a big deal in that area. Here in the northeast, we sometimes forget how lucky we are. Great finds Mack. Very big congrats.

That fellow is a long way from home.

That particular coin can only have date of 1823, 1824, or 1832.

Very cool.

Haven't been on the site in a while so I looked up the people near me and just wanted to say great find! It's amazing the history that can be found in areas where common people have only been around 150 to 200 years! Keep digging and keep posting!

That's pretty cool and quite rare for your area, and there's still some nice detail left!

Great score
