I was curious. As i plan on hunting low tide wet sand at the beach this weekend, what sensitivity do you guys recommend running for a Quattro as to avoid falsing? I had a falsing issue last time, which was the first time i used it on wet sand. I was running 17 or 18 sensitivity.

If its the same as Explorer2 just stick it in max auto sens for a easy life.
It will false if you hit the sand rocks ect even if lightly.
I run mine maxed out all the time with no discrimination.
You will get used to the falsing just go slow and low.
False tones tend to be higher in sound on the beach just dig the low to medium tones if you only wont the gold.
All the explorer range will go very deep on the beach its as deep as the Excalibur.
Also clean your coil cover a couple times in the hunt sand builds up quick witch will also cause falsing.
If you get serious you wont to try the 15in wot coil or the new nel coil this thing is awesome on low conductors.
You will dig a few more iron with it but worth it for the lighter higher value stoned women's rings.
Good luck its a grate beach machine :icon_thumright:
