I tried really hard to find some silver but it just wasn't meant to be today. I did make some neat finds though, it's the first Ox shoe that I've found and I got a kick out of the little pony shoe. The oldest wheat is a 1919, I sure found a lot of bullets too, I almost made a video but I decided against it.

Cool. Is that a calligraphy pen nib in the upper right corner?

That's still a bunch of change even if you didn't get silver...I'm in an area that has yielded only one single penny (1981) and there's not likely to be many more.

cheers,

great finds seems that ballpark still has alot to offer :icon_thumright: i always thought it was funny thay it seems like you always find the most bullets in the spots least expected

Sure a lot of bullets for a school. WTG on the wheats!

That ballpark was a celery field many years ago and that's probably the last thing that was there before they built the softball complex.

A lot of bullets, indeed! :icon_scratch: Nice digs Giant....love the ox shoe. :icon_thumleft: I have never dug one yet.

Nice digs, what coin is that w/ the swallow on it? Seems I have seen this before somewhere.

Interesting shoe Giant. Congrats on the Wheats!
