I used my old 6x10 coil on my V3i and I was impressed, the tiny silver ring was 8 inches down near a tree in what use to be the front yard. It gave me a great signal but when I went to pinpoint I could tell it was deep. I managed to get another nice silver ring too plus plenty of clad, a few wheats, old watch guts and other odds and ends.

Someone on another forum said it was a boy scout explorer ring, I read about what might have been one like it but they discontinued selling it cause they weren't selling hardly any and I think it was in the early 50's but not sure.

What's that little thing that looks like a pink stone on the watch?

Sweet rings Giant. You sure find alot of old watches/parts. Can't wait to see your ring totals for the year, keep up the good work! ffd

Silver is good. Spot price has climbed to 19.80 an ounce. You sure do a lot of diggin. I'm jealous.

great finds again Giant!! congrats on the big hunk of silver!
