Serrated Chopper?

Found this tool today. Most of the points I have been finding are hopewell, and a few broken ft. ancient. I have found one bifucurate that I posted earlier. But these tools are killing me to date. I have found a bucket full of this flint and no points made of it. I have a large core of this flint. And I also have some other small tools made from it. I always find it deep in the ground--6 inches, right above the clay. This tool is heavily mineralized like the core. But how do you date these tools when you find three different periods of occupation at one site?
