Found this , what I think is a Serrated Fishspear Point, opinion on type welcomed?...about 15 minutes into hunting a newer field with permission and then about ten minutes later we got kicked from the field.

Apparently he let another guy hunt it last week and one of the neighbors complained that they moved out into the country and didn't want to see people walking a field on someone else's property??? so the old guy didn't want any more complaints, I know we were never closer to the few homes that border than 100yds... some people, in the midst of everything going on in the world have such a problem seeing a few guys walking around staring at the ground.

So we were of course gracious and chatted with him for a bit and he told me the name of the guy that leases it, so I could see if he knew of other fields we might be able to walk, still just a bummer...

But a great point the serrations are wicked and there is fresh break on the base, but it doesn't look like much is missing.
It is what it is.

Nice find for only half an hour of hunting! I know the feeling... I dug a field for 4 hours and had a GREAT hunt, sent the owner some pics and next morning he says 'call me.' Apparently his wife just got a detector...

That thing Is gnarly looking! I bet it could do some real damage... Nice save!

That's a great looking point. Love those edges. It is a shame they gave into the whiners. It's their property to do with what they want. I would have told the whiners that if they did not want to see people walking around, then move farther out into the country, or better yet, head for the mountains ! They were very petty people.

Awesome point! Kirk related is a good call.

That stinks you lost a decent site.

The area of Indiana I am from has lots of lakes and lots of Amish. And people from Chicago or Indianapolis who buy lake houses (usually built by Amish crews) love the quaintness of seeing buggies until they get stuck behind them or when the wind shifts and the nature of that dairy farm down the road becomes evident. People try to rezone the farms, etc.

Beautiful point
