We did our usual strategy of 3 hours on the Potato Field & 2 Hours on the Sewage Site.

The Potato Field is working out well in the area we have never gridded:
(Pictures 2,3,4,5,6)
2 Roman Coins
Neolithic Flint
Livery Button
Medieval Kings Head Buckle piece (would have been nice whole)
3 Hammered's - Cut Qrter of Henry III, Ed I Penny, Lizzy Penny 1578-9 (Pretty good one)
Bits...

The Sewage Site finally produced a hammered but broken:
(Picture 1)
Tudor Fruit Knife Terminal
Medieval Belt Mount
Bits...

When will the silver streak finish?:dontknow:

So it is, didn't spot that, must be an odd strike?

Awesome!!!! Congrats!!!!

Great finds. That portrait of Queen Elizabeth still has some really nice detail. Congrats.

awesome finds

Always a joy to see what you've discovered Cru' flint from the neolithic period is super cool...:hello2:

Very nice! Did you share this with Land-Mag because he just emailed it to us?

No but probably we are in the same Deus group!

With that many hammereds your silver streak will last! Are these fields close enough for the new lockdown rules? Looks like were limited to 15km around home soon. :dontknow: That will cut most of my sites off as they are in the neighboring county too.....

Cru,

Another great hunt and congrats on keeping the silver streak going. Question, what is the piece to the right of the flint and below the D-buckle, it looks like an Egyptian head. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your hunts. Walt

Great stuff as usual Crusader. The flint is quite nice. Do you come across items like that very often?
Long live the streak!

It's a crudely carved Medieval Kings Head Buckle piece.

One reason we pick this field is that it's walking distance from Cru'Dad's house.:occasion14:

Not very often & it took me years to get my eyes in on the few fields they turn up.
Did a quick count in the display cabinet & have about 60 pieces.
