Silver Streak is dead.
Lost track of how many days, but getting 4 hammered last outing, killed it for us.
We continued our morning hunt in The Potato Field & the afternoon on the Sewage Site - Total of 5 hours.
We expect a bit of a grind ahead, but we are hopeful of something good, even if it takes days...

Just 1 Roman Coin & half a Spec Buckle from The Potato Field & just 1 Medieval Buckle from the Sewage Site (plus bits...)

Sorry for your silver streak. We talked too much about...
Think the other way: 90% of detectorists would call your day epic.

Hey! Still some fun old brass/copper finds. Only way to get more is to dig more!!

Still beats looking at snow banks.
You'l just have double up on the silver on the next outing.
It's a nice little Roman, congrats.

Nice!!!! Still Good Digs!!! Congrats!!!

Very nice! Congrats!

Is that a debased Roman coin below the spectacle buckle ?

you still got some cool stuff though

You recovered what was to be recovered...maybe next will be a hoard?

Not debased just a little shinny after some Museum Wax. I'm glad of this find as the owner only has this field that produces & very few Roman coins come out, so we were hoping for one good enough to give them. This Claudius II Gothicus Ant. will do.
