This field was recently sprayed off & the grass is dying back which means they will Spring drill pretty soon.
Although it was Gale Force winds we were only hit with one hail shower, so not bad really for a 6 hour grid.:metaldetector:
First 4 hours no hammered, started to think this might be the end of the streak....

2 Lead Tokens - 1 was found in The Winter Stubble Field OTWBTTC - It's nearly impossible to attribute any Lead Token to a person or trade but it's clear from this Windmill they were a Miller - circa 17th C.

If you clean up the impression of the seal post up a pic. Always kind of interesting seeing what they are.

We name our Roman Sites after various things like landmarks; ie. it's next to a Sewage Works

Sadly it's a bit worn & degraded so won't clean up that well, but I can see in the centre a Squirrel holding a nut.

The seal Matrix and the windmill token are great...I do love those Seal Matrix though.
