Hi I am needing some more info on the Comitia Americana medals. Ones with bust of George Washington on front and on back him and solders on horseback. I ask as been researching on these and have not found really info on how to tell if they are fake, recasts from the last 50 years, etc. And how do you tell which ones are authentic from the late 1700s to late 1800s I don't understand a lot of the terms they use on identifying them. So was hoping some of the members on here may be able to shed some light on them. What makes them rare and why certain ones are worth more. Thank you.
