Shed find.

Today I was cleaning out my shed behind my new house. I found a box under some shelves. To me it was a fun find so I decided to post it. The box is full of marbles 11 pounds! I wanted to shine my uv light on em but I had to search for it and batteries as well. There is over 90 marbles with uranium in them. Hey thanks for looking.

I didn’t even know that was a thing, although I’m not surprised. Our stupidity as a species knows no bounds sometimes. If you’re interested in a little radioactive history, look up “Radium Girls”. Interesting read. If I remember correctly, many worker safety regulations still in force came out of that.
