I tell you, there are few other jobs that you can be consistently wrong and still have your position besides the TV weathermen. With all the new techno gear they have, they are still wrong a majority of the time. It seems to me the forecasting was more accurate in the 60's :laughing7:

I think the weathermen are spending too much time trying to be a personality instead of concentrating on their jobs :tongue3:

Anyway, I'll stick with my weather rock.. So far it has been infallible.. If it's wet, it's raining; white, snowing; casts a shadow, it's sunny :icon_thumleft:

Yes, I hate the Weatherman.

I have a Doppler window. All you have to do is look through it.

I'm going to gather my co-worker, a meteorologist...brb

What's taking him so long, putting on his makeup? Should I remind him he is on the radio, not the TV, so no one will notice :laughing7:

Probably slipped on ice outside after reporting that it was sunny and 80. :laughing9:

I totally agree with this. As soon as a tropical storm starts heading inland, they're gathered down in the boonies to show how brave it is to ride out the winds and waves.

sometimes i think being a weatherman is tough....at least out in my area where there are many factors to our weather....with many different climates....coastline....rain shadows....2 mountain ranges....semi desert east side of state...temperate side of this state...etc.

Well, you've come to the right place for answers :icon_thumleft: Since WA is a pretty large state, I think we should sub divide it into 4 of the regions you mentioned. Each new region will now be a new state and welcomed to the USA with open arms.

Once the states are established, you can hire weathermen that are more familiar with one particular clime over another. This will increase your chances of getting the weather right and by my brilliant calculations, the weathermen will still screw it up 80% of the time :laughing7:

See, you made me do all that work for absolutely nothing :icon_scratch:
