Shells? Points? Both?

I found these two today in a BIG TIME productive area. the thing is.... I do not believe that shell points are indigenous to this area and have never seen one. Do you guys think that these are just broken shells, or perhaps.......... real points that made their way North from the Coastal areas?

IMO worn pieces of broken shell only... which isn't bad.. finding a lot of broken shells is a good sign that you're in a good hunting area.

Still if you're not by the beach, a good sign that area used to be covered with water,hopefully you'll find some shark teeth. Good luck.

Finding broken shell does not mean the area was once covered in water... ? The natives harvested all sorts of mussels and would sometimes process them at or near their camps (high and dry). Did you get a new camera yet? I can't wait much longer! LOL
