Shield Nickel Guitar Pick

Haven't posted in a few years, but finally getting time to get back out. Went out for a quick hour hunt, to a field I have been to in the past. There was an old house that sat there. I have found many things dating from the 1850s through 1880s. This is a shield nickel that in my opinion was hammered down to be used as a pick.
