Just wanted to show what I made today. Three bracelets hand forged from .2" sterling bar stock. Sized for smaller women. Sadly when they are a good fit it is almost impossible to lose them so they're unlikely to become future targets for our metal detectors.

I used to do contract work for a southwest jewelry manufacture. They did castings mostly using the lost wax process. Fascinating to see.
Like you, I would probably want to forge and strike.
My friend said I will inherit his anvil when he crooks. Problem is we are close to the same age. By that time I might be too old for an anvil.
Your never too old for an anvil.......
