Ships sail

[Diggindennis]

Can anyone date this piece of ceramic plate? It has ships sail on it.

well, it is a transfer ware piece and it could be Victorian all the way up to the 1950's. There was a time when every home had a few pieces of similar stuff, it was very popular. Look on EBAY and with luck you may spot the design.
