It's right there...
by that rock.

Thanks to all - there are a number of wrecks in this location, most interesting are:
1527 Portuguese carrack with cargo including copper and silver ingots.
1780 Spanish ship with several tons of gold coins wrecked on the rocks here.

Pillar dollars found on beach (upper left) after storms over the years.

Okie, i dont know what you eat :happy1:

More small objects to play:

Thanks Okie! Local legend tells of a privateer that buried his cache somewhere along this beach - might be you and Art may be on to something!

I don't know about main load, but this is where I got hits in the water.

Places I get gold signals, the rectangles on shore are for deep Au targets (maybe not a cache, but might be possibility of it).

I deviated some, on the way I'd normally mark things. Usually on land, the outline circles will be shallow targets from surface down to 1-2 ft deep. In the water around shipwreck sites, stuff often will be covered with overburden, a few wreck sites they must get down 7-8 ft. Here the largest circles were main hits, depth was not a factor. Around Florida you find places where renourishment of beaches is common (or a dunes project) the original shipwreck beach could be 10 ft down. Am I correct in assuming this site, is probably up the coast farther to the N?

Anyway, in dowsing the site here, I wasn't concerned about small amounts of treasure or isolated caches, only main load which isn't specifically defined but rather scattered.

Looks like widomanmx, on his first map, did a good job of centering his hit for the main scattered load. I have to agree with that 100%, it is in the lower left of cropped section. I put red arrows because especially, the beach hits were really hard to see.

Thanks Red - I'm heading that way next month and hope to hit those areas hard.
Best wishes!!!

On the 2nd map widomanmx did, the gold marked spots were light orange solid filled circles, but too small and light colored for me to see. The other targets were up on the beach above his main load hit. Put red arrows again to see good were they are on the beach.
