Hi,
I am in the beginning phases of working on some ideas for shipwreck salvage and recovery of items on the sea floor. I am ready to bring in some people (already picked) and know I should have a non disclosure agreement. I have found a number of simple printable forms on the internet, but thought I would ask you old timers if you have a form or know of a form that is more designed for a shipwreck agreement. The employees will also be privy to not only the intellectual property but our conversations regarding wreck sites.

Thanks for your help.

Land-sea It is my experience that the Non-Disclosure agreement is not worth much unless you have the resources to back it up in a long protruded court battle. However, it often serves well as a simple deterrent. I like taking the approach of not having employees, and making them investors in the operation. Instead of contributing financial resources, they are contributing manual labor in exchange for a share of the booty recovered. This can apply to your divers, deck hands, or anyone who may have a skill that your team may require. Additionally, you can have some of your financial backers do the same and be double dippers if they are the adventurous type and not afraid of some really hard work.
