Short after work hunt yeilds a little lead ..

Got that urge on the way home to do some swinging in the culpeper area ..So stopped for a few moments at a old spot of mine ..one of those places that always gives up something ... scored a little lead , dropped .69 call ,dropped .58 cal and a couple musket balls,some camp lead and a harness buckle a couple small artillery frags and the .69 cal I thought was kind of cool if you look at the side there is a letter C in it ... Not bad for two hours ... thanks for looking ..

Now that is the way to unwind....cool relics. Don't recall having seen a letter on a bullet like that.

Yeah me to I thought it odd as well it even has a small teet in the middle of the C ,it had to be made into the mold ...

Nice group of finds. Always like the little buckles as they come out of the ground in good shape. Used to think they were kepi buckles?
