I was able to get out for 3 1/2 hours this afternoon at a local park that has been pounded to death, and found a 1944 Mercury dime and three toasted wheats. Also netted a small pile of clad and a cats eye marble. Silver coins are hard to come by in this area of Arizona so I am happy for even one during a hunt. All in all A nice afternoon hunt. I also was able to get a permission from someone just moving into an older house built in the 50's, next to the park I was hunting. The owner saw me detecting and asked what I was finding so that gave me a chance to ask to hunt his yard. I'm hoping it will give up some good stuff. Happy hunting and thanks for looking.
